No-rise certificate
When development projects are proposed in floodways, the permitting agencies may require submittal of a “No-Rise Certificate,” which is a determination that the project would not change the flood plain elevation in the area. EEC utilized powerful computer models and specialized surveys to develop a determination, which is then submitted on the behalf of the project owner.
